Funfair models come in all shapes and sizes pending on the scale you choose to model in! 1:50 and 1:24 are the main ones that people model in however some are known to use other scales At kirkcaldy for example there was a 4 mm scale layout. For Transport models there are two main ways of getting a Model firstly you can find Corgi Classics from the showmans collection these can be found in model shops and on ebay if you search under "showans" The other Transport Alternitive is to make/ paint your own known as Code 3 Models. To make one all you need is either a model truck or model kit of a truck then add your own livery to it. Some examples on here are Colin Reids Excelent Adrenalin Volvo in Hornes Livery. For Actual models there are quite a few options at present. You can order parts to make up models. KR Designs through Kingfisher models sell parts to make up a Waltzer or Ark. Langley Models and RAH Models sell many model kits for the smaller scales see links section for website adress's. Corgi Actualy produce Model Gallopers which can be found at selected corgi Dealers or on ebay from time to time. For models with a continental touch look no further than faller who work to the 1:87 scale. Then there is the option of making your own out of many different materials like plasti Card, Metal sheeting and wood, Knex and Lego.
